Well, I had a larger difference. Fourtunately a better one.
I did 640 and 580 (this one 2 days or so before the exam) and got 700 on the real thing.
Maybe lucky, maybe inspirational moment...

have to agree on gmat prep tests [#permalink]
I have to agree..i read that power prep (the old software) always overestimated your score..so I got really worried and did a lot of the 800score tests as well.. but in the end the gmat prep score was withing 10 points of my final score.. (i took the gmat prep the day before)

I'm ambivalent about this. My GMATPrep scores (if I recall right) were 720 and 730. Actual GMAT = 760. Also, I found the actual GMAT questions at least a notch higher than the ones on GMATPrep. Or maybe that's because I was doing well.

I'd say Precise to be honest.

I did better than GMATPrep in the real thing as well, but that's because of higher concentration I think.

No other practice CATs come close to GMATPrep in my experience...

how many can you get wrong!! [#permalink]
I just did my first Gmat prep and got 730 45Q and 46V. What gets me is that I got 19 questions wrong in the quant section and 9 wrong in the verbal, how do I still score 730 !?
