It's not about staying away from country specific goals.

It's making your reasons for wanting to be in Europe sincere and convincing. In the essays and interview, the adcom wants to know that your reasons aren't superficial (I know you're probably not going to use your visa situation as the reason but you know what I mean about showing them real love). And if you can't show them real love, then you should seriously re-think why you are willing to move halfway across the world because of some immigration reason.

I definitely will not be talking about the visa issue. My strategy was to modify the essays I used for the US programs to include the international aspect of an education in INSEAD & Cranfield, the GM focus of their programs and the specific resources in the schools that I plan to utilize. I guess this is what they would need to see.
