regards Warlock Hi Warlock, SP Jain invites people for interview according to their profile and you need to have a GMAT score of 680 to get a final call. For ISB, with 6 years experience a score of 710 to 730 would get you an interview call. I'm not sure about XLRI though! Set your target score as 720 with an 80/80 split. Thanks Entwistle you are my man thanks a lot

UPDATE: Just ordered " Doing Grammar" by Max Morenberg. I shall post a full review after I thoroughly review it : EDIT: A friend of mine said that the book would contribute to a 5 point increase in the Verbal Raw score Time for me to put that theory to test :D

heygirl wrote: So how's the book? done with it? The book approaches grammar from an entirely new perspective... The gist is that every sentence in English is made up of a few components and grammar is the method by which we can link those components into one coherent unit! The book basically explains how to recognize these components and how to put them together and/or pull them apart. I haven't covered the entire book. It will take time

sounds good I had used a grammar book too during my GMAT prep because I had forgotten 'clause', 'conjuction' etc . If I take the GMAT again, I may look into this one! All the Best Ent.

Alright... For the past few weeks I didn't do much prep I decided to take a break because of personal reasons (I was going through a break-up) I used the time to review the goals I had set and I also added a couple of other goals. Things are on track now... I'm done with the math part and during this one month, it's gonna be purely verbal. I'll start with Sentence Correction. For the coming two weeks, I'm gonna focus only on Sentence Correction. Yippie Ka Yay GMAT!

I am sorry to the members of this community for not updating this thread. I've been going through a difficult time and I haven't been able to concentrate much on GMAT. However, since I am teaching quant to people at a coaching institute, my quant is pretty strong. I will start attacking the verbal part next month onwards. Thank you for all your support
