Has anyone received an interview invite and it specifically says that "your interview should be conducted in person on campus"? Am an US citizen. I am overseas at the moment for work and not sure if I can request a video interview instead.

Melodania,
based on my interview registration process. It seems that you have various options. Certain days will have adcom available to conduct interview while other dates have alumni's conducting the interview. You can see in advance who is the interviewer.

I also had my interview with an Adcom. The Adcom did connect me with a student after the interview for a chat though. So not an interview, just more relaxed discussion

Can anyone comment on the difference between Emory's 4 rounds? Most schools have 3 rounds, your chances of admission in rounds 1 and 2 are basically the same, whereas your chances in round 3 are significantly lower. Is Emory's round 3 more similar to round 2 at other schools or is it a true round 3? I was initially targeting round 3 but now I'm not so sure.

They seem to have pushed the dates back from last year. Last year, they called the rounds Early Round, R1, R2 and R3. This time, it seems like R1 is actually R1. And R3 is probably R3. Can't say what the AdCom members have in mind. But their usual response to questions about when to apply is "Apply as early as possible to have the best chance". So, you might want to play it safe.
