Thanks Necromonger :)

Actually, my next step is the TOEFL... I need to pass the 100 (on 120) :) Several people say that it's easier than GMAT... I'm not so much sure and I'm starting to study it :)

What about u? I read that u will apply to INSEAD? :)

I don't need to write TOEFL because my undergrad in engineering was in English. I am applying to INSEAD, in fact - it's the ONLY one I'm applying to right now due to various reasons, and being overconfident is definitely NOT one of them! :) Are you applying to INSEAD too?

I'm wondering about it :)..... Actually, a 680 seems to be not enough for it :)

What do u think? I cannot consider me an exceptional profil :) so... without a high GMAT, I do not think that the adcoms will agree for an interview ;)... Which could be the key for me :D

I don't think it's entirely true that they won't even consider you with a 680. Your score is definitely in the ballpark for a competitive application. At the least, you should try!

It's true that It should be a fantastic school :)

How many languages are u able to speak? :) If it's 3, u should be completly fine :)... I read that people have to enter with the knowledge of 2 languages and leave with 3, at a so called "basic" level :)

It's one side of INSEAD that scares me a little ;)... Even if i could be able to learn spanish.

Dont worry fig, have a friend who has been accepted 2 years ago at INSEAD, and he got 680 as well. He had a medium engineering profile, but was working in London and had a family.

Regarding the TOEFL, insead asks for a minimum of 105. I've passed it last july with 108 and GMAT 590. It's of course much easier(even if I didn't believe to score above 100...), so with your 680, you shouln't have much problem.

Thanks for this reply karlfurt :D

I c :) The adcoms appreciate when an applicant has a work experience out of his or her country :)

I'm working at Luxembourg for 5 years... I hope it will be a plus as working at London :)

Hi Fig,
Congratulations on your score and best of luck for your applications.
I downloaded SC1000,CR1000 and RC1000 from a link here in GMATclub. And also read that we can see the correct answer by clicking the "Show/Hide" button. And I see that the correct answer of the question appears in Blue color Font just after the option D of every question.I am not very comfortable using this approach to check my answers. Can you please explain what is "software GMATTER" and how do I get/use that ?
Thanks.

Thanks mukeshnathani.

This is the former post of Gauss where u will find the GMATTER software : https://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=218952.

I suggest u to update the .xml file of 1000SCs by this one (I removed 4 or 5 mistakes inside it ;) )

Hey Fig,
Thanks a lot.Co-incidently I do not have .xml file of 1000series but only have MS word which I downloaded from https://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=20341
By any chance can you please upload .xml for CR1000 and RC1000 as well. Thanks once again and sorry to bug you with this.:)

Sorry... I have not the 1000 CRs & 1000 RCs in .XML. :) It's surely possible to create a kind of "robot" that generates an XML file from a .doc . Perhaps one of GMATClub member could do it ;) :)

Raghavender
Thanks for your post :D :)... Yes... Hard time but necessary ;)

Actually, I started to practice SC1000 on 17 july and I finished 2 days before my GDay on 26 september :) Thus, almost 2 months and a half ;)

Since June, I practiced every weekday from 7-8pm to 1am and every weekend 6-7 hours a day :).

I attached my XLS file.... perhpas it could help someone :).

The column "C" is for correct and "W" is for wrong :) I simply increase by 1 every time that I practiced an idiom :)... If the colour turn to pink on a "C" case, it means that i should focus on the idiom of the same line (the number of mistakes exceed that of correct answers).

I already call HEC and the staff seems to think that the score is good and above average... So, it's motivating and I plan to visit the campus soon :D...

What about u? when would u write your GMAT? :)
