Hey Johnny, I was looking at the BU MS/MBA program as well. Do you know how the internship is squeezed in between the 2 years?

Johnny -
Way to go, Mr Psychic! You totally deserve it, and I think you can't go wrong. You strike me as the type who makes his own opportunities. Way to go.
BTW .... umm....can you tell me where our cell phone is? We haven't seen it in at least 2 months.
thanks

Congrats Johnny!
i would also vote in favor of Stern....$$ you can earn anytime/anyhow in your life....education from a top school might be what you look back to later in your life
good luck with your decision...i know it's a tough choice to make (i have been there)

AAUDETAT - Thanks for the kind words! Your cell phone is on the floor in the laundry room, behind the hamper.
KIDDEREK - Thanks man. I believe that the MS-MBA program requires a three-week "intensives" session which is several classes crammed into three weeks, and then you spend the rest of the summer working an internship just like you would at most schools.
EVERYONE ELSE - Thanks for the input, it's good to hear everyone's thoughts. Hopefully Stern will come through with a full scholarship (yeah right) and make my decision for me.

First of all - congrats - that is a serious accomplishment and you should be proud - you deserve it after all of the hard work.
Second - there really is no comparison between the two schools - even with the full ride, BU cannot compete with NYU. They are in totally different tiers.
Go to NYU and dont look back. Best of luck.

AWESOME!!
I also vote for NYU.
The full ride may seem huge right now, but 20 years later on it will be only a pocket change for you.
BU is a great school, but I think you can benefit more from NYU
(No offense to those going to BU)

Again it's great to get the input from everyone, thanks. Especially OasisNYK, because I know you actually went to BU and have that perspective to offer. Hearing everyone's opinions has given me lots of food for thought.

A belated congrats Johnny!!!
Are you still wanting to stay in the Boston area after b-school, or are you wavering on that a bit? Obviously the Stern name carries more weight nationally, but if you are 100% sold on Boston, i'm not sure Stern is such a slam dunk given your full-ride at BU.
It is certainly a difficult decision, but you will win either way, so don't sweat it too much. Congrats again on your accomplishment.
