I went to a major city Community College before I transferred to a good state school. I had around a 3.55 or so at Community College while receiving my Associate of Arts in Business Administration degree. (Got a full-ride by the way, not sure whether to emphasize that). I transferred that entire degree (the state university to which I transferred accepted the entire associate degree, therefore transferring 60 credits). The University I transferred to had my GPA start from scratch though. So when I graduated with my BS degree, I ended up with a 3.86, which only considered the courses I took at the University. That is the GPA listed on my transcript. The courses I transferred are listed on the transcript as well as the grade for each course, but the only GPA listed is the one earned at the University. So my question is whether the MBA admission offices will just look at my final BS degree GPA or whether they will take a different approach to find the average of the two or something..
