I am going for B here

"adopted to the style that is conformed to shape" sounds better than "adopted to the style that is conforming"

I don't see the need of using than for more in B

conforming to the shape of the body rather than flaunting shape for its own sake
conforming to X rather than Y

"the shape of the body" and "flaunting shape for its own sake" are not parallel. flaunting in the second part is not used as a gerund. do you agree?
