Sentence in Kaplan Book:

It is common for a native New Yorker who has never driven a car to move to another part of the country and have to learn to do it.

I know the 'it' in the beginning of the sentence (It is common...)is 'impersonal it'. I need to know whether the 'it' at the end of the sentence (...to do it) is refering to the car or is it also an impersonal it?

Regards

Hi

I do not know whether that "it" is impersonal or not, but what I know for sure is that it is no good to use it

I think Kaplan explains this case. There must be "so", meaning "doing this way"

I think Sergei refers to the last "it"

The first one looks OK to me, but the last one is definitely incorrect usage. It needs to be substituted with "so".
