GRE vs GMAT? [#permalink] New post 01 Mar 2013, 23:25
I am not scoring too great on my CATs. I am between a 620-670 on my GMAT.
I am now considering the new GRE. Is it easier than the GMAT?

Does anyone know how favorably MBA schools look at the GRE?

After putting in 5 months into GMAT Prep and going from a 560 to a 640 or so I am not too sure if it makes sense to change gears and try the GRE.

Thanks

Hi gmatprep1982,

Although many B-schools have started considering GRE scores to increase their pool of applicants, they prefer GMAT over GRE. Many say that GRE is easier than the GMAT, but the kind of prep required will be slightly different. In my opinion you should stick to GMAT, if you plan to apply for MBA.
