See GSB forums. It's public knowledge.

Rhyme - you can change my status to Admitted, albeit with a part time asterisk now.

Can part-time applicants post too? I've been lurking for a long time, but I didn't want to post because I know the application process is different. Still, my applications to GSB and Kellogg are in, I'm anxiously awaiting the results and I'd love to have others to commiserate with!

Thanks! Congrats to those admitted! I'm applying for Spring '07. Submitted GSB on Jan. 17th - went into Committee on Jan. 20th. Their stated decision time-frame is 4-6 weeks, so I've got about another 3-5 to go.
My stats - 710 GMAT w/6.0 AWA, 3.77 GPA from a top liberal arts college (PoliSci/Econ major), 3.5 yrs work experience in litigation consulting. I'm also female, if that makes a difference.
Strong extracurriculars in college, not so much since then. I'm interested in Accounting, General Management, and Finance.

I'm sat waiting still. There is ages yet (he says, wistful while others are getting i/views).
I love the way they say interviews are random "from what the adcom reads that day". So... the adcom has no process to the way they are reading the apps? Strange if true (though I do remember big piles of files lying around at Uni, and me leaving a whole load of second year exams in a restaurant).
Anway - essays were that I was a nightclub promoter for two years (outside of work), and the book... Nigel Slater's Kitchen Diaries. Though it was nearly Martin Lukes (I didn't have the guts to write an essay on a parody of management bullshit).

Thats a solid admit for a part timer. Let me go ahead and congratulate you now. Litigation consulting eh? Does the firm you work for happen to start with an H?

No, I don't work at a firm that starts with an H, sorry. I guess you mean Huron? I do know someone at their Boston branch, but that's it.
And so much for my 3-5 weeks - I just got my admit call from Kellogg this morning! Hopefully I'll hear from UChicago soon and I can find out if I have to worry about choosing between the two.
