Hey all. I had a question, that maybe's been discussed on here before. I tried to search, but my results were mostly irrelevant.

So, the question I had is: is there a thread that discusses how to respond to the typical essay questions ? For example, why our school, why an MBA now, how will it help you, etc ?

I realize that your answers should (try to) be unique, and there is no cookie cutter answer, but maybe something to guide you to craft your answer properly would really help.

If its not a thread, maybe some web resources that individuals have found would be great as well.

I would think that all of the how to get into b-school guide books would address this. Montauk's certainly does. I think that's probably what you're looking for.

During the last season, we weren't that organized on the forum. Someone might have a specific question, and then we'd discuss it. But I don't remember any "Question X" threads. Lhotseface had a nice post about the "why duke" question, if you can find that.

There was also the guide for writing essays, a pdf that rhyme posted. That one was nice, too.

lepium, could you advise the link to this pdf. Searched with various options but cannot get on trace of it. Some topics say it should be sticky, but cannot find it among them.
