H1 to F1 transfer [#permalink] New post 15 Jun 2006, 18:33
I am currently on H1 B visa working full-time. I have decided to pursue full-time MBA studies starting Fall 2006.

Does anyone know if I can still keep my H1B status and work part-time and study full-time?

How many hours do I need to work in order to keep H1 status?

How long does it take for the paper work to go through if I choose to transfer from H1 to F1?

Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bhavin,

Unfortunately, I'm not an expert on visa matters. You may want to consult a lawyer, ask some business schools directly, or do some searching on the U.S. government's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) website.

Good luck,
