Hi bb
In the Business school guide for Berkeley, there is a link that says - "kryzak's Kellogg vs. Haas vs. Anderson (Large scholarships at all three schools!)"
When I click on it, it says I am not authorized to view that forum. Why so?

Thanks for asking! That was linking to a user's personal profile (in the User Profile Forum that is available on an invitation only basis since it contains personal information of many users). Sorry the link made it in the MBA guide.

I am visiting Haas on Sept. 12. Let me know if anyone else is there from this forum that day, and want to meet. I think fall classes start from Aug. 22, but class visits are available from Sept. 12 onwards.

Oh are you sure about the Aug 22 date? If yes, I might also visit on Sept 12. I emailed HSA, but got an out-of-office reply.

I checked Haas academic calendar http://mba.haas.berkeley.edu/academics/calendar.html I think is they say class visits resume Sept. 12, they must have already settled in to start the process. PM me if you decide to go. I am also checking with HSA.

I want to reapply, but I was told but the admissions committee but they'd rather I wait a year before reapplying. One more year of work experience (with the corresponding promotion, responsibilities and compensation) and the MBA is just not going to justify itself.

does anyone know the reapplication process? Are you supposed to rewrite all the essays followed with supplemental "how you've improved your candidacy" essay?

Hi all,
I'm an Army vet who is currently a second-year student at Haas. For any veterans out there looking to apply to Haas, please feel free to send me a PM, and I'll connect you to the Veterans Club here.

Planning to apply in R2. From myfeedback last year which was given to me in late JUne- i havent had much time to rectify it. Two main areas were 1) GMAT score was on the weak side, 2) Leadership activities outside of work were missing.
While im trying to fix the latter, i cannot do anything about my poor GMAT score at such short notice. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions to improve outside of work leadership activities?
I tried contacting USALC- but so far they have not been open with their information. At this stage im 50-50 on moving ahead with them.

What are you interested in? That's the first place to start. From there you can either organize people who share that interest or volunteer to lead a project for an organization that aligns with your interest. Hopefully that sparks some ideas.
