Anonymba, The stats exam is not that difficult and I also heard that the admissions office is lenient in terms of your stats score. I have heard of countless students getting through with less than optimal scores. Also, the Berkeley course is $1000 +, if you go to some community college and do the same course you may be done under $200. In the end, YMMV.

Hi, I've been lurking for a while. My profile: 29 year old male of south asian descent GMAT: 720 (47Q 42V) / AWA 6.0, only taken once in 1/2012 GPA <<3.0 , BS in computer engineering from U of Illinois. (I partied too much) 7+ years WE as systems manager for a small marketing company, some good projects under my belt. Not much for ECs. Decent Recs (i hope) from longtime clients I currently work in Chicago but could possibly relocate to bay area and telecommute rather than fly in every weekend. App submitted 3/13 Contacted for interview 3/26, gonna schedule for mid-april I'm probably a longshot for admission, but if the adcom has me as part of the 2/3s that gets an interview I hope it means they're at least willing to look past my very crappy gpa. I received my invitation to interview via email. Did some people receive phone calls? Does it mean anything if they email but don't call? Good luck everyone.

As far as I know all interview invites are via email. Only if you are accepted will you get the "510---" phonecall. As many of us Rd 1/2 applicants (including me) are hoping for a call sometime today.....Good luck with your interview.
