Interesting, on the second to last page it says that they interview approximately 2/3 (or 66%) of the applicants. So it is at least 66% and possibly up to 80%. Either way, it sounds like they must use GMAT scores or something to schedule these interviews. They obviously use something to weed out 20 to 34% of the applicants. Just doing a quick back of the envelope calculation it seems that if interviewed, you have between a 37.5 to 40% chance of being admitted. tim0thy wrote: CaliCpa wrote: I was under the assumption that they interview about 50% of applicants, and accept about half of those interviewed. Hey all. I'm a R1 applicant, but I haven't heard anything yet either (I even submitted early). My application status still says "File Under Review." Really not sure what to make of it...

Hi all, I know this program pretty well, as I am local and I have talked directly to Tammy as well as others who used to be on the admissions committee. Because it is relatively easy for candidates to meet with admissions representatives, they do interview a lot of applicants. The 80% number sounds about right. I know that must be a depressing thought to those who interviewed and are waiting, but it's the way things are with the part-time program these days. Good luck to those who are waiting! And if it isn't great news this year, I know they have admitted reapplicants. Stay sane! Betsy

Last year they interviewed about 92% (that's what they told in their session).

I can access it..Still File Under Review  No news yet folks? I'd expected a few admits to have been called by now, given the pattern over the last few years.

Does anyone know of anyone that has heard results yet? If not, I imagine they will start rolling out today! Since it's my b-day, I'm hoping for good news, and not a letdown BTW, did anyone also apply to UCD? I just heard from them last Friday (wasn't available for the call, and haven't been able to get in contact with the director of admissions who called, but I'm assuming good news - could be wrong though...)

The subset of R1 applicants here is really small- probably 5-10 students out of 40?

Businessweek forums used to be pretty active last year but I don't see a new thread by there by applicants this year!

Talk about checking the phone - I have been doing this since Monday checking for an email from ewmbaadm or an update from some one here. It's past 3 today I personally don't think there is too much hope left for today. Tomorrow the sun will rise and who knows what the tide could bring? Posted from my mobile device
