So I looked over last years forum and no accepts went out on the day of the deadline. ( Ouch!) I understand I have a small sample pool of GMATclub members.. but at this point chances look slim for R1'ers.. Goodluck to all those admitted! Maybe you can share your experiences with us in a year!

Although Haas is one of my top choices, I have to say I have been disappointed with the application process. Many more essay questions than other schools, the wait is longer, a lot of ad emails, and now it's already deadline and my application is still 'under review'.

I'd have to agree with you... I expected much more from Berkeley in the application process - especially with how long it took them to review applications and extend interview invitations.

The apply Haas page changed for me and now allows me to select whether I plan to enroll or not, pay my deposit, etc.

Thank you for your response! I think people should refrain from saying decisions have been posted etc or atthe very least qualify it.. Those who were invited for an interview; did you get an email stating change of status or you had to check everyday if there was a status change?

For what it's worth, I received an invite to interview late in December. However, because of the holiday I wasn't able to coordinate an interview with an alumni until just a few days ago. The admissions contact I was emailing with informed me that it may be a few days past d-day that I hear back. So Haas may not be fanatically wedded to d-day if you had a later interview.
We'll see what happens though.
