Congrats! Also, I love how we have the same admit/reject stats for the schools we applied too. Seriously, who needs Columbia/Stanford anyways. :P

Hahaha, this is awesome, I still can't believe that I came out the other side with an acceptance!

Yup, good luck all! Hope to see the Class of 2015 Facebook group surge in the next few hours/days...

What is the link for the Facebook Class of 2015 site? It's not showing up when I search for it.

Has anybody submitted the Employment verification form to Re Vera ? Do you receive an email from them acknowledging the receipt of payment ?

I submitted it yesterday, yet I have received no email confirmation yet.

Thanks.

Can any R1 admits shed some light on what happens with Employment verification after the form is submitted ?

Unless there is some additional information that Re Vera need from you (in which case they will contact you by email) they will just do a background check on you and you should see a check mark on your checklist within 3-4 weeks. Nothing big to worry about..

Hi query007,

R1er here. Congrats on your admission!

Re Vera should contact you within the next few days to confirm the reception of your authorization form, and maybe a couple of times after that in case they need more info on a job or an internship. They did not confirm the payment to me. I also got a notification once the process was complete and it took HBS a couple of weeks to check the box on the prematric site.

So really nothing to lose sleep over

I just received my FAFSA application report and had a question for people who have gone through the financial aid process. How did the FAFSA EFC contribution compare to your HBS yearly contribution for the financial aid formula?

Thanks in advance!!!

My FAFSA EFC was less than my HBS student contribution amount - by about 3/5. However, you can take out loans to cover the student contribution amount (I was worried at first that they expected me to have that cash on-hand...)

Thanks for the quick reply, I was kind of shocked at how high my FAFSA EFC was, I guess my HBS contribution is going to be even higher. :(

Not necessarily. That was just how mine worked out. I don't know what kind of formula they use. Don't despair - just keep reminding yourself that you are going to HBS :)

So I just updated the thread to include the most up-to-date graphs and application data! Let's get this party started. Good luck to everyone that is applying this year, we wish the very best application season possible :)

Looks much better and cleaner. Are the stats up there for Class of 2014 (that is us) or Class of 2013? If 2013, I suggest start showing 2014 as well. if this data is for this thread only, then we should change header to 2014 not 2013

Cheers!

Are you a big Fabregas fan? Or is your name Francesc, hah!?

I'm a HUGE Arsenal fan, so am also a fan of Cesc (obviously sad he left Arsenal, but can't blame him for going back to his hometown team, which also happens to be the best team in the world!). Cesc enjoyed an amazing performance at the Euros!

Good luck on your HBS app!
