I can verify that there were a lot of slots on campus with virtually all full within an hour. Didn't count how many though.

I scheduled an interview in NYC, which seemed to have some 50-60 interview slots. Almost all were filled within the first several minutes of sign up. On campus had way more slots available than NYC. I didn't count (there were many) but it seemed at least 5x the number. California had a lot too.

Could you share the locations where it was possible to schedule an interview? Maybe that would shed light on the region / industry argument.

So it really seems most invites went out on 17th...I guess I have to give up HBS already.
Can anyone give a brief estimate of the no. of interview slots?
That might give a good idea of the no. of invites sent out.

This is the first year the essays are so small - maybe they`re going to interview more people to make up for the essays? Always a possibility given the new philosophy of focusing more on the interview.
