Ooh yeah! I missed the "Round 1 - What Can Happen at Noon (Boston time) on October 24" post... Invited for interview, rejected/released, or waitlisted. If you get invited for an interview, your chances of getting accepted are about 1 in 2. If you're put on the waitlist, your chances drop to about 1 in 4. If you're released, you still have the rest of your life ahead of you. That doesn't sound so bad, right?

I'm doing feeble attempts at reverse psychology - "hope I don't get invited so I don't have to fly to London in November!" Who am I kidding though... tick-tock it goes, now the pendulum, now the telltale heart. If my application was half as good as my literary references, I would be less worried.
