I too got a call from Dee and then 2 hours later a call from my interviewer.
Also - I'm an Engineer and Analytics was recommended. I have zero finance or accounting background but I guess I do a lot of excel magic? Anyway - I enrolled to take it. I figure 1) I can meet people not in my section, 2) maybe relieve some inevitable first day nerves and 3) not feel immediately behind.
My friend took it last and said it was a lot of work but she would do it again for the reasons I listed above.
Still super excited!! I wonder when this wears off...

Still super excited!! I wonder when this wears off... I got a call from my interviewer on Thursday, but not one from Dee. He was trying to explain how he is there to help as I make my decision. I found this funny, since I only applied to HBS and there isn't much of a decision to make...lol I'll see you in the analytics class!

Still super excited!! I wonder when this wears off... Analytics was the least amount of fun of anything that I've done at HBS. That said it was probably worthwhile, and my analytics study group do still keep in touch... we all suffered through the experience together. Congrats on admission, hopefully see you at an admitted students welcome session!

I realize this is months away, but does anyone know what the time is from submit to finding out if you get an interview?
Thinking about a R2 application, but wanted to figure out timing first.

Thinking about a R2 application, but wanted to figure out timing first. Our interview invites went out about a month after the submission deadline: Application deadline: Sept 24 Interview notifications: Oct 17th and Oct 24th Final Decision: Dec 12th From the posted application dates, R2 has the same span of days between deadline and final decision: http://www.hbs.edu/mba/admissions/appli ... dates.aspx

Just curious as I have not seen many in this thread, but any got into HBS with 50%/100% scholarships? Looks like P&Q mentions HBS offering a significant amount of aid (loans/scholarships) but never seen many in this thread.
