This is killing me, too. I finally wrote something today, but it's not great. I've written stuff for the other essays, but I feel a lot better about them. The question is so general - it doesn't elicit specifics, but I feel so lame being so general.
How are you doing on the other essays? I have stuff that I'd be proud to submit, but I'm still working out the kinks. I imagine I'll be doing that until the last day.

I've got outlines so far. I'll pm ya what I got...
Extremely challenged by the ethics essay. Very very difficult.
My thoughts: I need to tie the ethics issues to the career vision - something specific..... its not good enough to say "harboring financial funny bidness" or something.... need something specific to industry.

I agree this HBS essay is unique in that it is a forward looking essay. This is also an essay where the Adcom is looking for your creativity.
It should also tie back into your career goals. For instance if you plan to join the Health care industry one of the issue that you see in the future is
Human Cloning
Designer Babies etc.
