I'm curious to know how many people are having their essays read by an online service or another type of service. Is anyone having a friend or colleague (who is/was in an MBA program) read theirs? I think I've always been a pretty good writer, but I was hoping to have someone take a look at my essays for good measure. Unfortunately, most of the services I found online are pretty expensive. At this point I'm leaning towards having a friend who used to be an editor for the Boston Herald grammar-check them and stopping at that.

What are other people doing?
