for the Harvard application it is clearly specified that the recommanders should submit their letters and impressions ONLINE

however when you have 2 or 3 recommanders for 5-6 programs, it is not very convenient t ask them to visit each website and fill in the information...

do you know if HBS definitely rules out every paper based recommandation letter ? :cry:

No, unfortunately I think HBS (and many other schools) is now requiring all recos to be completed online. One more reason why you need to start early and give your recommenders a lot of time to get it done!

by the way, I've checked many schools (stanford, chicago, wharton, nyu, yale, darden, tuck, ...) but it seems only HBS does not accept AT ALL paper based recommandation letter
it seems other schools prefer online but they will still accept your papers whereas HBS will definitely not accept those letters...

Yeah, I know it can be a hassle at times. Just remember that you're making the admissions officers' loves easier, if that cheers you up. :-)
