I have a friend who applied, interviewed, and accepted Columbia ED. Good for her. She applied very early, sometime in august I believe. Interviewed 4 weeks later and was accepted 4 or 5 days after her interview.

HBS, Wharton, no Stanford [#permalink] New post 15 Nov 2006, 04:43
Rhyme's probably talking about me.

I got an HBS invite and had my interview. I got a Wharton invite. Nothing from Stanford. Those are the three to which I applied.

HBS interview was interesting. It felt very familiar because the interviewer knew intimately my application. The questions were around decisions, timing, telling my story more thoroughly, etc. All about my essays. It was shocking and almost flattering that they were so thorough.

I submitted my HBS app Oct 8. I got my invitation to interview 11/3.

My profile:
Female, 27, American, work in strategy/operations consulting and will have 6 years when I go back, lots of leadership and volunteer stuff (ie. organize volunteer events for work, arrange fundraisers, etc), 3.2 GPA from Yale, 760 GMAT.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Good luck!
