If anyone is interested in an alternative quote for health insurance, PM me. My wife and I opted for an insurance plan through an independent broker. It was much cheaper than the university's plan--not to mention that we won't have to deal with the referral requirements of the university's plan.
I don't know much about insurance but my wife does and she is very happy with the plan. Obviously, all plans are different so you'll have to choose the one that's best for you. The broker can provide you with a side-by-side comparison so you can make a well informed choice.
Note: I do not benefit from the referral in any way.

I have found health insurance for cheap that meets all my school requirements for a much lower price. PM me if you want to know. It is the same company which I used when I did MS EE before.
