First: Do your GMAT.

Second: If your score is 690 or above you are in good chances for the grande école program with a bachelor's degree from Oxford.

If your score is below or equal to 650 save your money and apply for the MIB. I know two people who got into the MIB with 630 and 640 GMAT scores, but the lowest grande école GMAT that I am aware of had 660; the second lowest already 690 (talking about the current classes at HEC/2011 Intake).

Gottesschaf:- I beg to differ dude... I had a 640 in GMAT and got through the prestigious EM LYON....Having said this tsumu28:- Gotteschaf is rite.. Finish your GMAT and do try for a high score cos that will definitely help you crack ESCP and HEC... :-D Although both these colleges are super selective....And as for applying to MIB is considered you can always do that after you get your SAI results you can keep that as a backup...
One more question to the forum... Given the current debt crisis do you really feel it is worth investing so much in a EURO driven country.. Do post your replies

Cheers

Hi All,

I'm an architect in Delhi and have about 17 months of work experience at the moment.

I made a quick decision to apply for the MIM programs and just made the winter application just in time.

I'm finding the wait a little difficult, so was wondering about other people out there, also waiting to hear from SAI in just a few days(hopefully).

Re: HEC Grand Ecole 2011 intake [#permalink]
Hi Guys,

I recently got selected in HEC Paris Grande Ecole program. I had a few queries regarding the program. It would be really helpful if you could answer them.

1. How are the job prospects after graduating from HEC?
2. Would it be a good decision to go to Paris, given the financial crisis in Europe?
3. Now that the Visa regulations have become more stringent, how difficult it has become to land up in a job (both in France and outside, say UK) ?
4. Is it easy to get internships in the gap year?

Kindly reply soon as I have only 3 days left for my confirmation deadline.
