Hey Motleyfocus,
I am considering it, as it is a very interesting program. That being said, I am currently enrolled in a Master program that has a similar structure.
So I am just wondering how much I can benefit from this - besides the brand and the peers of course.
Therefore, I am considering a master at MIT or at LBS.

Good to know that you are applying too.
I have given my GMAT..waiting to understand the application process..hve heard they have an outsourced application management system..
Let me know if you can throw some light on the application procedure of Grande Ecole

m not able to post the site address as i am a new member- Go the hec site - choose Masters programme in english there - on the right side you will find online application heading - click on it - translate the site into english.. rest all you can follow.. i started the application for fall as i am hoping to score more than 700 in gmat :O :O.. lets hope it happens... From what I understood you need to only fill in one application for 5 B schools in France and pay the application fee also only once and there are three sessions depending upon your gmat score. The site is very simple and easy to follow. Hope it was helpful

Hello Rama, I have heard that Grand Ecole's application process is handled by a third party. What is confusing is..that whether we should send in our resume, transcripts etc separately to HEC after filling in the application form of the third party.. The third party website asks us to fill in the application form in their website..which in itself is a process.. I hope you go through the website http://www.sai.ccip.fr. This is the website at which we are supposed to register.. Let me know if you have got my doubt. Cheers

and yeah.. I am looking at the November deadline..i had given GMAT a fortnight back and had a decent 750...hence looking fwd to the application process..

hey this is rounak from india.just finished my engineering in IT in 2010.gave gmat and got 680.what do u think are my chances of getting into hec or escp.i gave ielts too and got 8.i believe i will not be able to apply in first round since i have less than 700. so what are the chances of getting into second round.be frank plz

Hello there,
I am also applying for R2 HEC sep 11 intake.
rounak 1988, i think you have all your chances. It is not because you do not have a 700+ gmat score that you will not succeed. Reciprocal is true not every 700+ scorers get in.
SO you have all your chances as long as you have some strong academic background, experiences and extra activities. One can balanced others obviously.

okayy..... i am still in my final year of my UG degree in engineering at a university in india... have a 7/10 gpa... scored 720 on gmat....
decent extra currics....was an english teacher in thailand... lots of volunteer experiences.... etc etc
i haven't done any internships at all... but my interviewers didn't dig too deep into that so i assume it didnt carry much weight
I didnt do the interview as well as i would have liked... probably my reason for getting dinged by hec....
As long as u get invited for the interview, u r good to go... just make sure u come out really well while talking abut ur experiences and motivation to study what and where...

hey akkie6665, i hav created a group on Facebook for those admitted/hoping to get admitted via the SAI process Just do a search for "SAI 2011 : Skema -Audencia-EMLyon-ESCP Europe-HEC" and join the group if u r interested... also, do tell others who might be interested, to join....
