The 2 schools are very regional. Most grads find jobs in the Montreal/Quebec region, while very few of them work in Toronto. A couple of HEC Montreal graduates find jobs in France, but they are native French speakers/ French citizens.

HEC Montreal has been around for much longer than Concordia and the alumni network is much bigger. HEC used to be the top school for the Quebec region, but since McGill raised its tuition fees and since Concordia got a new building, the choice isn't that clear anymore. Montreal schools ranking is now McGill > HEC Montreal > Concordia.

HEC Montreal grads usually get hired by big Quebec based companies such as Bombardier, L'Oreal, National Bank, etc. while Concordia grads tend to end up at smaller/startup companies.

I think you should pick HEC over JMSB, unless you really feel that you like JMSB for some reason (in the end, subjective elements are very important too)
JMSB is an ok school, but it does not have the same network / reputation.
For example, if you want to work in consulting, almost everyone in Montreal comes from McGill or HEC, and companies such as McKinsey, BCG, Roland Berger (the last 2 just opened offices in Mtl) recruit in these schools actively. Also, the big firms in Montreal such as Bombardier, Pratt&Whitney, CGI, CAE, SNC Lavalin, etc and the major Canadian banks recruit heavily there.
