Could you please explain what is wrong with C?

My prefrence was second and fatal, and not second fatal

it means there was a first fatal attack..duh!

Heart Attack, if its fatal, there is no second time :twisted:

agree with the answer.

a question though ... are we supposed to know/assume something like 'fatal' = death?

Guess we are to asssume it, fatal=death

However,

"a second, fatal, attack" would be just fine, no?
Under this construction, "second" and "fatal" both refer to "attack"?

other than it being impossible for someone to have a "second fatal attack" I believe it is a perfectly good construction; simple and concise
