Hello there.
I'd just like to know whether my current background is realistically good enough to get me into a top b school, provided i manage a 700+ GMAT score :

28/Male/Indian
MBBS, MD Psychiatry
Work Experience : 4 years
Languages : 5 (Hindi, English, Punjabi, Kannada, Marathi)
Did my residency at a charity hospital for 3 years
Did additional charity work for the destitute and poor
Have worked from being an intern upto the senior most resident
Average student during MBBS.
Extracurricular : Was the lead singer of my high school choir, have learnt indian classical singing for 5 years, outdoor sports enthusiast, widely traveled all over the world

My choice B schools are Harvard, Tuck, Wharton, Columbia, Stanford, Chicago Booth. I'm particularly interested in Tuck

Your accomplishments are many, are interesting, and are impressive. But they alone (even with a high GMAT) will not make you a viable candidate to a top b-school.

The adcoms will want to see some rationale for b-school. Why, with this background, are you pursuing business school? Tuck, indeed all programs you mention, will ask about your goals. If you express goals that relate to healthcare in some way, that might work. But the goals are an integral part of the application’s holistic “story.” You will also need goals that are credible, appropriate, and relevant to the b-school agenda.
