Hi everyone, I'm a Canadian born and raised who's about to graduate from a top 10 US school from undergrad having majored in math and econ.
I'm committed to coming home to Canada after I graduate and have recently been accepted into the University of Toronto's Master's of Financial Economics program and Schulich's Master's of Finance Program. I truly have no real idea how these compare with pluses and minuses so am looking for some thoughts. I know Schulich is 12 months while UT is 16 months with a coop but that's about it. Thanks in advance!
Congratulations on getting accepted into University of Toronto's Masters of Financial Economics program and Schulich's Masters of Finance Program. With both of these schools located in Toronto, you should not have any problems in searching for jobs on completion of your course. I think you need to talk to alumni of both these schools to get a better idea. If possible, visit both the schools to get a better idea of the facilities and the community. See which school you like better and then make a decision.
