Hello,
I really appreciate your efforts to build your profile.
I am sorry , but i do not have expert knowledge of masters in financial engineering from different US schools.
However, I am aware that HASS has one year program - master of financial engineering that helps you learn dynamics of finance in a year, i would suggest you to get in touch with current student of the program to learn more about the same and other options for the same program.
If you really want to build your profile in finance with such program, you may start doing some short term finance courses and start understanding where your interest lies within finance itself. Finance itself has a broad range of options, so you may explore all and then may be in sometime you can develop your passion for two or three to choose in future.
good luck
