Hi,

Following is the study material I used
how-to-start-gmat-preperations-136048.html

Quant:
Be clear with the concepts and make a error log. Start practing from grockit.com and mark out your weak areas. Go back to teh theory of those weak areas and practice again!

Coming to the verbal part:
Am not a verbal guy so my advice might not be so helpful to you, but still i will try sharing my thoughts!
Refer powerscore CR bible(which i had referred too!): Once you are done with reading the CR argument, are you able to predict what kind of question is going to come and what will be the possible answer? (I was able to do those things once i was done with powerscore CR!)
Also, did you try grockit for practice? It helps a lot in improving the speed. And am very sure that once you are with powerscore then you can get almost all CR questions correct.

For RC
Did you try reading articles from following sites
https://www.smithsonianmag.com/
https://www.scientificamerican.com/
https://www.economist.com/

For Sc
Did you try Thursdays with Ron?

I will suggest you to maintain a error log and follow study-practice-study cycle. Error log might looks something like

Prepare a xls sheet (topic by topic).. and keep a track of your progress on a daily basis. Use color coding (Red,Orange,Green).
Red: You are weak in theory - brush up your concepts.
Orange - Done with theory but weak in application of the concepts
Green - Done with the topic

Hope it helps!

Typically I have done better in Quant:

In the 2nd exam it was Q41/V28
In the first exam, I think it was Q49/V31 (something like that)

Practices it has varied:

Q47/V30
Q45/V34
Q45/V30

Verb has never gone above 34.
I don't know what happened in my second exam, and I don't know what is wrong with my studying strategy?
Your quant and verbal has a huge variation. And I guess this bombed you and may again bomb you unless you fill the gaps in preparation.

I would recommend that you get started with a complete verbal e-course first with any test prep company after your research. This will ensure that you get maximum value by putting in your efforts for the sake of returns of your investment. Start with your weakest area in verbal and then switch until you start getting equal scores in all subsections say, RC/SC/CR.

While you are going through your verbal e-course. Keep quant in focus with 1 week in hand for quant on every say 3-4 weeks of verbal. Give the process some time and practice and dont rush this time in scheduling the exam.

BOL and kill the GMAT.....
