Hi Sumant,

The chances of admission in b-schools depend on few factors like your GMAT Scores, GPA, Work Experience, Acads & Extra-curricular. This covers not more than 35% on the entire b-school application. The most important in fact deciding factors are your application essays & interviews which covers 60% to 65% of the b-school application.

An avg. profile can make up by submitting skillfully written essays & working had during final interviews.

Wish you good luck.

Best,
AK

Hi,

It will depend on the impact you've made at work, your GMAT score, and any outstanding accomplishments outside of work (athletics, community service, other competitions, leadership experience, etc).

You didn't mention your role at work. Try to seek opportunities to lead projects and take initiative to go beyond what is normally expected for your role.

Also it helps to have clear career goals, so now is the time to figure out what you would like to do post-MBA and long-term, and how an MBA fit into that picture. Depending on what you want to do post-MBA, make sure you research the role by reading, talking to people currently holding your desired post-MBA job to understand the skills needed for such jobs, and start networking.

If you are interested in getting admissions consulting help for the application process, please email me your info. http://marveladmissions.com/contact-us/

Good luck!

Christine

1. where did you graduate from?
2. what extras do you have?
3. GET that GMAT (700+ or better yet 720+)

And listen to christine's lovely advice! She knows what she's talking about!
