Hi

My score in the GMAT is 590, Quants - 41 and Verbal - 31. My official score report with IR and AWA are yet to be processed since i took up the exam only recently.

My undergrad Percentage is 76 % and hold a degree Electronics and Communication engineering. I have around 3.5 years of work experience in the IT field thus far.

I would like to know how competitive my profile is and what chances I have to apply to a decent B-school in the USA, Australia or in Asia for a Full Time MBA program.

It would be of great help if someone could advise and help in giving me a list of B-schools to which I can consider applying to.

Thanks in Advance
Vivek

More info would be required to answer your question but I can tell you in general, if you are from India, you will not ve competitive in the top tier simply because your profile is too common and your GMAT too low to break in. I would target schools in the top 50, trying to get as close to the top 25 as you can. There are plenty of schools in this area which would likely get you where you need to be depending on your goals. If you are from an under-represented country you will have more of a shot but again, the number of applicants with equal or better profile attributes to yours is staggering. Best to shop for a school who has trouble recruiting international students. You can add a tremendous amount of value in the classroom with your perspective as a global citizen.
