Help on ETS paper tests [#permalink] New post 22 Feb 2005, 00:24
Hi All,
First of all, thanks to all you guys for maintaining this great site. Great job!

I have some questions on ETS paper tests:
1. How many paper tests are available and how many should I buy? I am targeting 750+

2. I have 3 tests that I borrowed from a friend. But I dont have the sheets explaining the scoring. I took the first test today. Made 6 mistakes in all(3SC + 3CR). Am anxious to know what score my performance translates to.

Thanks again

There are Nine paper tests sold by ETS at http://www.mba.com in batches of three.

The scoring depends on the difficulty of the test itself. Each paper results in a different score for the same number of mistakes.

Assuming you have taken ETS paper -Test code 14:
6 errors in verbal out of 61 verbal questions roughly translates to a verbal raw score of 53, which according to ETS table for this paper is a scaled verbal score of 45. Great job! :banana

Are all these tests very important? Which set is the best to practise from?

Thanks for your input

Although many OG RC are to be found in the PT, I would still recommend you to buy at least a set, any set of 3. It is good practice.

Recommend you to complete all the ETS papers and then do the OG as substantial number of questions in the papers I think are repeat of OG.
