Help!!!! Online/Part Time Programs [#permalink] New post 09 Sep 2009, 08:27
Anyone have any advice on online programs? I just moved here to Houston, TX (from Philadelphia), and have missed the deadlines for fall enrollment. I looked into local schools (Rice, U of T, U of H) and it looks like they don't let you start PT programs in the Spring. I have to start a program before July (job requirement) I wanted to do an in class PT program, but guess that's no longer an option for me. So I started to look at online programs and found that Drexel was one of the top 10 online programs (I went to PSU, so I wanted to go somewhere not Penn State), but I don't think that their name is known outside of Philadelphia area, and would help much.
I am employed and the company is paying for the MBA, so that's not really an issue, but time is now of an issue. I have started to study for the GMAT and have not started applications yet either. Am I kidding myself about even starting in the Spring? Starting to feel that way...
Any advice on programs and what to do and when to do it? I will be taking the GMAT before Thanksgiving (figured that would give me enough time to study and get a great score).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

check out http://wpcarey.asu.edu/mba/online/ .. supposed to be good and they dont need great scores, so a 20 day of sincere prep should suffice.
