HELP PLEASE - Expanded resume!

hi there,
i am required to submit an expanded resume for one of the schools to which i am applying ....
they specifically ask me to include "what i learned" at each job.

i have developed some really strong examples and am including them separate from my responsibilities/achievements.

but what TENSE should i use for these "lessons?"
should they be past tense (for everything but my current job) like this:
"Valued and drew on experience and knowledge of department experts to better understand business practices."

OR should they be listed as present tense - like lessons for the future, too? like this:
"Value and draw on experience and knowledge of department experts to better understand business practices."

i want to be consistent ... but this is proving to be a real challenge.

ANY help would truly appreciated.

For all but your current job it should be past tense.
