Help required for applying to GMAT [#permalink]

Hi All,
I am planning to take GMAT in MAY 2011, I have already booked an appointment for GMAT.
My Current profile:
Work Ex : 5 yrs in IT major ( 1.5 in US and 3.5 in India ).
Current Role : Technical Analyst
Grad: B.Tech in IT - 70 %
10/12 : 70 %
Extract curr: president of IETE in college , active member of IEEE in coll.
Awards and rec: Got a award for excellent performance for one of my project.
I have the following queries:
1) I am planning to do my MBA from some good Inidan school like ISB. So will the above profile will be considered , and how much GMAT score I need to get shortlisted?
2) If I get a good GMAT score this year but I apply in schools next year , will my score be still considered or do I need to retake the GMAT next year?

For ISB you need 700+ and your score is valid for 5 years!
