program:harvard 2+2
20yr old,Indian male
currently in final year
will graduate in may-2012


Undergrad in engineering in india
major:electronics and communication
GMAT:720
GPA:
freshman:6.8 out of 10
sophomore:8 out of 10
junior :8 out of 10
ECs:Interns at DRDO(the indian defence org) and another prestigious college

What are my chances of getting into the harvard 2+2 program? Will my low gpa of freshman yr affect my chances?
Also are my internships inadequate or any other experience would have been useful?
Or any other suggestions...
pls help

You have a chance at 2+2 if you can show leadership, initiative, and innovation in your activities in college. I can't tell from your post if you have those qualities or not. Your grades are good and I don't think your freshman year is a deal-killer. But lack of the the qualities I mentioned would kill your chances at 2+2.

:lead editor of school magazine
:captain of basketball team of coll
:organised a few events in college fest
: was involved in a local startup

thats all I have...please suggest

With those activities you should be able to demonstrate the qualities HBS seeks so I think it makes sense for you to apply. However, HBS 2+2 is extremely competitive. Don't set your heart on it. Apply. Give it your best. But don't count on it.
