Here is one interesting thing that I came across long back & wanted to mention it.

On CR to find out which part is evidence/premise & which part is the Conclusion. Use this...

Ask WHAT author is trying to prove --> Conclusion.
Ask WHY author is able to prove ---> Evidence.

Basically, WHAT & WHY test :)

Good point.
I actually find a lot of value in the "Denial Test". Any CR question, just try to deny the answer. If it does not make a difference in the context of the question, move on. Else, you found your answer. Try it on some questions.
