im a normal guy myself
-2.3 GPA (below average, yes)
-but good working experience (working student, maybe i can use this as a reason for my GPA)
-very active in community
-international student

havent taken the GMAT. but i took the GMATprep without studying so i can know where im at. originally, i was planning to take the test without studying and good thing i did not. i thought i was gonna get a 230 or something during the test. it was hard. i got a 510. not bad. havent had math for awhile. im going to review and hope to reach around 650

Need more info. What is your age, ethnicity, and Undergrad u? Give me your expected gmat within 30 points. What major?

The problem is that out of the around 400 schools that are accrediated the lower ones usually have a cutoff gpa point. Some may take you on probation. Any b-school is solid if its accredited. You need to take 2 summer classes at a local University in Stats, Finance, ACC, or Calc and get A's. Try and get around a 580 on your gmat. If you do, then you can look at schools like: Wichita St, Butler, Western Michigan, South Florida, Northern Illinois, Dayton, Cleveland State, Eastern Michigan, Southern Illinois, FAU, FIU

Don't worry about "just in case". Start studying and see how you do. Work hard, don't second-guess yourself.
