i m planning to give gmat . m doin B.Tech Information technology and m in 3rd yr. wanna go fr it in my 4th yr-- then go for a job in software field fr two yrs or so ...then apply for universities. does this idea sounds good?

Find out what you really want to do! If you want to move out from technology and towards finance or something else, spending two years in tech field may not add up in your long term planning! But if you want to be tech manager/entrepreneur than it's a good idea!
