How come almost everyone on this forum gets higher Q scores than V scores?

Although the GMAC theoretically scores both on a 0-60 scale, the verbal hits the 99th percentile at 45 and the quant hits the 99th percentile at 51. So, you have to compare the actual percentiles and not just the numbers themselves. I would say that in general this forum (via the challenges) provides a great way to practice the quant skills, but I personally am doing better on my verbal practice tests than quant practice tests. I think that a few of the actual posted scores reflect some who do better in verbal like I do.

I did better on the verbal than the quantitative part. One thing to keep in mind is that there are several non-native speakers of english that take the GMAT. Math is more universally understood than english is :).
