Hey I've been writing up my essays. Is there an ulterior motive behind giving us an option to choose between questions as in 4a and 4b | 5a and 5b? Would there be advantages of answering one over the other?

Planning on applying for HKUST.. but wondering if my profiel is good enough?
I'm a dentist (female) with 2 years WE. Still have to give my GMAT, taken a date (10th Jan 2012)
Any info that could help me. Please share.
Thanks
Hi ruppy, welcome to the forum. Given that you are taking your GMAT in Jan, the earliest you'd be able to submit your app is R3, which is the most selective round. You might want to go through the HKUST Guide: hkust-mba-guide-118050.html and, you can also interact with the The HKUST Admissions Team here: ask-hkust-admissions-119027.html

well dentists' would certainly add to the diversity in a class.... so you would be up against other doctors. If you have a good story to tell then try and apply asap.... don't wait till the last round. Your score would not make really make much of a difference.

Hi vgr,
Rest assured that there is no ulterior motive behind the essay options. You can just choose the question which you think you can provide the best answer.
