The admissions team mentioned sometime in early April as the original time slot they provided me conflicted with another interview I had.

The admissions team did mention to me they had their peak admission period so I would expect them to take longer to respond

Had an offer elsewhere so if do not hear from them anytime soon, the choice is clear as nothing to compare.

It was a pleasant interview, it was the "potential" part of the two interviews. Talked mostly about my leadership traits as well as my motivations for pursuing a MBA. Also talked about my initial motivation for working in China. It was in-person here in Shanghai.

EDIT: FYI, my application status is also Under Review, it doesn't change after you get interview invite or complete the interview :)

First interview? The is the first time I am hearing of multiple interviews.

Is it an exception or a norm?

I think its the norm, the interview is in two parts: 1. background and motivation 2. potential. Maybe in some cases they do both in one go. Anyways, mine was part 2 in-person and part 1 will be with adcom over skype.

Does anyone know how long it takes the school to give a response after the interview. I have an offer from another school but my interview with HKUST isn't till next week, so I'm afraid of timelines.
Thanks.

Normally is 1 week to my understanding. I got an offer from another school as well but currently pending some documents hence slight delay. I am worried about the lapse in timing as well. I will highlight in the interview and shall see what can they do about it.
