HKUST opinions, please [#permalink] New post 13 Jan 2013, 18:05
I am an American with a solid background in international trade and law. I wouldn't mind living in Asia for a little while (1-2) years, but I want to live in the US after. I was wondering if HKUST had a solid reputation in the US? I like that the program is only 12 months and I want to network with Asian businessmen.

HKUST is a wonderful school but the reputation tends to fade beyond the boundaries of Asia. Another school in the same league is CEIBS.
Why don't you study at INSEAD Singapore. You will be better served with opportunities there.

INSEAD and HKUST is pretty far apart in requirements though.

CEIBS is the same as HKUST in terms of regional school, great for China/HK, but not good if you want to move back to the US.

I like the 3 HK schools and CEIBS but not for someone who wants to move back to the States. Stick with a US school.
