Hello All,
I've been reading this forum for the last couple days and got caught up with most of the information presented here.
The majority of the posts I'm seeing here are related to scores of 650+, to be honest all I really need is a 550.
To give you more background on my situation...
I started actively studying for this test in September of '08 and I wrote my test in November. I registered into a prep class called Renert (I'm from Canada), and unfortunately the english section didn't help me much...My undergrad is computer science and I found the math more of my strength. I wrote the two CAT tests from
www.mba.com, and I scored 580 for the first test and 570 for the 2nd. (I know not nearly as impressive as most people on this site, but it was good enough for me).
I wrote the test and landed a 500, not impressed with myself at all...
Since then I've been back at the books and got a hold of the prep class instructor and he's been helping me with my SC..
After a month of revising my skills I wrote the CAT test again and scored 600. Now I can't say I feel confident about this score because I found the questions in the actual exam much harder..
I've contacted the staff at
www.mba.com for older versions of the CAT exams, however they only have the two I have already wrote.
I am on the fence if I should buy the tests offered here on gmatclub, and was hoping of any of the geniuses would be able to advise me how to go about practicing this further. My test date is feb 17th.
I've read a lot of people referring to a GMATPREP exam, I'm not sure if that's the same exam I've already taken, but if not where can I write this? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks!
Izze
