How are multiple scores interpreted? [#permalink] New post 19 Apr 2004, 18:46
I took my GMAT today. Got a 650. Did well in verbal. Bogged down my Math but I am confident that I will be able to stretch my score to 700+ in two weeks time when I am supposed to take it again.

But I am paranoid about schools averaging GMAT scores. Say I get a 710, I hope the top 4 schools dont interpret it as 680 by averaging 650 and 710. As a international student, GPA is not something that they can look into. In fact we did not have a GPA system.

As noted in the previous thread, the top schools do not average GMAT scores. They take the highest one.
